Project Manager
We are looking for a project manager to join our growing events agency.
You must be based in the UK, and have the ability to travel freely within the UK, mainland Europe, and overseas.

Salary: £34,000 - £39,000 DOE plus a range of benefits
Contract Type: Full-time, hybrid, permanent
Location: London office, flexible and remote working available

Role Description
The Project Manager will be responsible for the full management and execution of client events, overseeing all day-to-day operations. Key responsibilities include developing proposals, managing budgets, maintaining clear communication with clients and suppliers, and coordinating all logistical aspects. The role also involves delegating tasks to project coordinators, providing onsite event management, and ensuring an exceptional client and attendee experience through outstanding customer service.

Your key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

Lead end-to-end project management for high-quality, creative, sustainable events - from client brief and planning through to onsite delivery and post-event reporting.

Understand client objectives and ensure every project element aligns with the brief and delivers measurable impact.

Procuring and managing suppliers and venues, negotiating contracts and ensuring sustainability and compliance throughout.

Oversee budgets of varying sizes and currencies - tracking spend, managing scope changes, and ensuring accurate reconciliation and profitability.

Maintain strong client relationships, acting as the main point of contact throughout the project lifecycle and supporting business development when required.

Lead or support onsite delivery, ensuring smooth operations, clear communication, and quick problem-solving if challenges arise.

Drive continuous improvement, sharing post-event learnings and suggesting new ideas to refine planning, delivery, and sustainable event practices.

Creating and managing event project plans, ensuring they are kept up to date and relevant.

Attending weekly conference calls with the client to provide progress updates and highlight upcoming action points.

As with any portfolio of events, there is potential for onsite delegate and logistical management should this be requested by the client. This will be discussed on an event-by-event basis.

A strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail.

Excellent time management skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.

Excellent communication skills with all stakeholder levels as well as external vendors.

Strong experience of leading corporate events of 50 – 500 pax.

A desire to organise successful events with a sustainable approach.

A strong understanding of venue sourcing in the UK (specifically London) and cost negotiation.

Knowledge of cvent is preferred.

Have at least three years’ experience working within a similar role, preferably within an agency setting.​​
