A landmark global health event in Bangkok, bringing together senior leaders from every continent to reimagine global health.
The Challenge
To manage the logistics and delivery of a first-of-its-kind global health reform convening at the Hyatt Regency Bangkok Sukhumvit.

The event was designed to bring together perspectives from across the global health system, building on five regional dialogues held across Latin America and the Caribbean, Africa, Europe and North America, the Middle East and Central Asia, and Asia and the Pacific.

The scale of the event made planning complex. Delegates were travelling from over 30 countries, which meant flights, accommodation, transfers and arrival logistics all needed careful coordination. The team also had to manage venue comms, print, AV, interpretation, recordings and multiple suppliers across Bangkok.

The wider context added further pressure. The situation in Iran affected travel plans and required the team to respond quickly, calmly and with clear communication throughout.
The Approach
Zentive worked closely with the project team across the full planning process, supporting the event from conception through to onsite delivery.

The team managed international travel, accommodation, transfers, supplier coordination, venue liaison, print production, AV, interpretation, and recordings. Clear communication and organised project management kept the planning process on track despite the scale of the logistics.
​
The room was designed around dialogue and collaboration. A cabaret layout created space for discussion, along with high ceilings, a large LED wall and tabletop microphones. A professional AV team managed sound, interpretation, and recordings, helping sessions run smoothly and reducing the barriers for involvement, allowing every delegate to take part fully.

Zentive also worked with the hotel to make sure the experience outside the meeting room felt special. Breaks and lunches were involved local delicacies including mango & sticky rice and Thai iced tea. On the first evening, guests were brought to the Spectrum Bar on the 30th floor for a drink and food reception overlooking Bangkok, with live Pad Thai and sea bass stations creating a memorable close to the day.
The Result
The convening brought senior global health leaders together in one room for an inclusive discussion on the future of global health reform.

Hosted by the CEO of Wellcome and delivered in partnership with the Thai government, the event created the right setting for open conversation, regional insight and practical coordination across key initiatives in the global health system.
​
The technical delivery supported the collaborative nature of the programme, with interpretation, recordings and table microphones helping delegates contribute with confidence. Travel, accommodation, transfers, catering and supplier management were handled smoothly, giving the Wellcome team the space to focus on the content, relationships and outcomes of the convening.

The result was an event delivery that matched the ambition of the conversation: global in scope, complex in planning and grounded in the need for meaningful dialogue.
